I am an Intervention Specialist at a Title 1 school in the Metro Detroit area. I work with struggling readers in grades K through 8th. My students begin the school year performing below their grade level. They need extra support and resources in order to grow and perform at their grade level. Many of my students don't have the support or resources at home that they need in order to succeed to their highest potential. It is my job to make sure these students gain the literacy skills they need to function in their classroom, as well as in society.

About my class
