An LCD projector is a staple piece of technology in every modern art classroom. A projector would grant students access to high-quality images and visual learning opportunities. Gone are the days of passing around laminated and faded art prints. I want my students to see art from around the world and from NOW - from disenfranchised and forgotten communities, war-torn nations, people of color, strong women, and awesome minds. I want my students to see art that challenges the very definitions of art and artist. I want each student to see the world and find their individual role in it.
