My students are growing up in a time where technology is king, and they are consumed with how much they can do on their devices. In my reading class, I am trying to instill into my students, a genuine love for reading actual books. As my fourth graders arrive into my classroom, they are met with a classroom library in shabby shape. They read the books I have, and love them! I have had many of them tell me that they don't have any books at their house! My students this year, have fallen in love with non-fiction readers from National Geographic. I have a handful of them, and the books are beginning to lose pages. I would love to buy all of them, but that is hard to do these days. I need your help to help to purchase these books for my students. I guarantee you these books will be read and treasured by many years of students!
