I am a 5th year teacher. I spent a year in 2nd grade, 3 years in 1st grade, and I am excited to begin my journey in the 3rd grade. 3rd grade is such an important year. I am ready to help students make the transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." I am looking forward to helping them learn multiplication and division, build up their number sense, among many other 3rd grade math skills. I love teaching social studies and the rich historical material will be exciting to impart to them. I am also thrilled to work on their STEM skills through many hands on and practical activities. 3rd grade is such an important grade in elementary school and I feel so honored to be their guide to navigating and mastering so many of the skills they will need to be successful in school. I know these young people have the power to succeed in life and at school! I am ready to get started helping them on their journeys!
