My students are always researching and exploring the world around them. Our English classes do not simply read novels and respond to them. Students read, evaluate and connect the outside world to their own lives. Many do not have the resources to travel beyond their neighborhoods. The Chromebooks will allow them to virtually visit new places, explore various cultures and expand their understanding of the world beyond the classroom. My students HUNGER for technology to broaden their horizon!!! Technology especially computers allow my students to increase their scope of knowledge and encourage them to achieve beyond a High School diploma.
