TIME subscriptions will allow my students to explore their areas of interest as related to social studies using technology. Students will have online access to TIME Edge. Lexile-leveled nonfiction text along with STEM articles will encourage my students to improve their reading levels and explore career choices. There is also an interactive component that allows students to participate in polls. This resource has a background of 90 years of TIME magazine reporting. There is also alignment with state standards. For my struggling students, the articles may be read aloud and there is also a Spanish translation component. There are also printables and graphic organizers
