We are a small middle school with many diverse backgrounds, not only socially but also culturally. The students here really celebrate their differences and it has made all who work at this school, as well as attend this school better people. Our students here at Central are creative and love to express themselves. We no longer have an elective art class at Central because of budget, but we do have the opportunity to have a class for creating a yearbook. Unfortunately, we do not have cameras for the students in yearbook class to use, so we are not able to see the school year through the lens or eye of the students. It would not only teach these students how to take good pictures, but how to use technology in creating their school year throughout a book. This something that they would truly be able to take pride in.
