My students are active musicians in music class. We play, improvise and compose music on instruments. We also use instruments in performance settings to show parents what they are learning in music class. Performances and playing instruments are my students favorite things about music class. They especially love playing the bass xylophones. I rotate students through the instruments so all students will get a chance to play each one on several occasions. We need a new bass xylophone. I hope that by replacing our worn out bass xylophone, more students will have an opportunity to learn and play on a quality instrument that sounds great!
