Four and five year olds have boundless energy and enthusiasm. There are many days when they are inside all day long. Either it is a rainy day, or during the winter, we have months of weather that it is too cold to go outside. That means indoor recess! It is so important that they have quality playtime. These materials will ensure a playtime that is both creative and stimulating. The classic games will provide the opportunity for my students to work on taking turns in a more a natural setting. The building sets will give the chance to work together and collaborate, while at the same time, building fine motor skills. The kitchen sets will let the children pretend and role play on their own. So much learning takes place through play. These materials will allow them to learn real world skills and help them get through that tough period of the school year when we cannot get outside.
