Having a set of headphones for each child would be great! My students enjoy using programs on the computer to help them become better readers. My students are beginner readers and most of the computers are heavily focused on phonological awareness, and phonics and they would need to hear what the computer says. In my first grade class we are almost 1-to-1 with a collection of laptops, desk tops and I-pads through a Title 1 grant, but we don't have enough headphones for every student. This means that we can't take full advantage of using the computer programs through our district.
