I teach in Dorchester, a section of the city of Boston. The children come from a diverse cross-section of Boston's neighborhoods. My classroom is a full inclusion classroom, so some students have disabilities and others do not. The students support one another in striving for success both socially and academically. In doing so they have fostered a sense of responsibility, respectfulness, determination and inclusive practices for members of the classroom community.
