Any classroom is a physical space for students to learn about the world. In each situation, the walls can limit the learning. The 10 Kindle Fires I have requested will help break through those walls. My Social Studies class is not limited to the textbook we have. The students research explorers, dress up as colonists and discuss the causes and effects of The American Revolution. In order to do this, we need to expand our resources. For my class, the tool for expansion is the Kindle Fires. An intrinsic goal of mine is to include current social studies topics. Once again the physical space of my classroom has to be expanded in order to successfully do this. I know that the Kindle Fires will do this for my students.
