This year, I have the opportunity to work with a group of thoughtful, passionate, principled young people. My students are eager to learn, and use the skills they develop in class to impact their communities in meaningful ways. My students face challenges daily that many in our city do not even have to think about, and despite these challenges, or perhaps because of them, our students come with a genuine sense of hopefulness and unabashed determination. My school is working hard to provide our students with the resources, opportunities and learning experiences that support the growth and development of our kids and it is my hope that you can help us in this endeavor.
