I have the privilege of teaching 24 amazing fourth graders who are avid readers. My 4th grade classroom is one where students are welcome, feel safe, and are comfortable to be themselves.This year my goal is to inspire and motivate my students to become confident and successful readers. While my students love to read, many of them are reading below grade level. I need to increase my lower leveled books in my library so that the students who need to access these books have a large selection and a variety of topics to choose from. This will keep them interested in reading and encourage them to challenge themselves with more and more difficult books.
