Our school is an urban high school school with a minority population and limited funds/resources. In our classrooms we have no computer access and only 10 calculators for a class of 18. The majority of the students are not familiar with how to use technology to their benefit. When given the opportunity to use a computer or graphing calculator they will often make more mistakes due to unfamiliarity. The majority of the student body has a desire to due well in school and succeed in their lives. They have just been given very limited opportunities and chances to be great and successful.

About my class
