As a first grade teacher, it is my goal to show my students that with hard word, motivation, and dedication, anything is possible. My kiddos come from a background of high poverty. We are a Title 1 school, and about 75% of our population qualifies for free or reduced price lunch. Despite these challenges, our school has been rated "Excellent" by the state of Ohio. Many of my students come to school without supplies or educational background knowledge. Still, what they do come to school with each day is priceless: a strong desire to learn and grow. As a teacher, I not only provide them with content knowledge, but school supplies, a developing love of learning, and sometimes, even their basic needs. In each one of my students, I see great potential and endless possibilities. By donating to this project, you're helping my students reach their many goals!
