Students must have their basic needs met in order for them to learn. This project will provide small healthy portions of food to students in kindergarten. Snacks can play an important role in helping students stay happy and engaged. They increase energy, focus, and attention. As many of us have experienced, it is difficult to stay focused when we are hungry! All students have lunches provided to them at no cost, but there is no program available that gives snacks to students. Many families may not be able to afford this extra expense at this time. Your donation would help ensure that all students are able to have a simple daily snack that will keep them sustained, happy, and motivated to learn.
