Our 2nd-grade team wants to provide our students with hands-on learning materials which will include Reading, Writing, and Math manipulatives during our distance teaching. While we are teaching online our students will have the necessary tools to work with us from home. If we are fortunate enough to teach from the classroom they will be able to use these materials safely from their own desk without sharing with others. These manipulatives will include dry erase sheets, markers, math games, counters, number lines, word games, and much more. We have already purchased the download rights for 80 Math Tool Bag and 80 Reading Tool Bag materials to be printed and put together for our students once our grant wish is fulfilled! We will use the paper and printer ink to print the materials, the laminate sheets to laminate so they will last, the metal rings to make sets of flashcards, the sheet protectors to make dry erase boards, and pencil pouches to store the Math and Reading Tools for home and school use. We are ready to create these for our students!
