My second graders are amazing scholars! This year, my school became an International Baccalaureate candidate school. We will be applying for official IB status in the spring of 2018. Our district is 100% free and reduced lunch and each school serves free breakfast. My students face a lot of challenges in their home lives and deserve every opportunity to be successful. My supporting my students and classroom, you are helping these vulnerable, hard-working, amazing kiddos become the best students they can and want to be. My classroom is inquiry-based and focuses on educating the whole student. We do a lot of hands-on activities, a lot of physical movement, a lot of explorations, and then we put it all together with our math and literacy skills and call is a day! The majority of my students meet their yearly growth goals and work hard every single day they come to school. Help me keep their love of learning alive!!!!
