My students face different struggles everyday. Some students don't know the next time they will eat a meal, while others don't know where they are going to rest their heads. My students live in a high poverty area in Philadelphia, PA. Although they face these struggles my students come into our school and work hard. The children I work will are in school to learn and become successful. I believe many students at my school would consider the school their safe haven. The children can be themselves and don't need to worry about their everyday struggles. My school is an amazing place for children. The staff at my school is there to help each child the way they need help. I have been working at my school for seven years. I commute over an hr to get their and home each day. Many people ask why I'm still there? It's because of how well our staff works together and the relationships we have with our children. I couldn't ask for a better school!
