Bronx Theatre High School is a Title I school located in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx in New York City. With a little more than 400 students, 68% of the population is Hispanic, 29% is African American, and 2% is Caucasian. The majority of these students, 86%, are economically disadvantaged and receive free or reduced lunches. Being a school that focuses on drama, Bronx Theatre High School attracts students who have a very specific interest which creates a wonderful school culture. The students at Bronx Theatre have a strong desire to be there and to learn to further their ambitions. The students are enthusiastic about theatre, but also their academics. When faced with interactive Geometry lessons, the students cooperate fully and push their knowledge to new levels.
