My students are mostly high school Juniors and Seniors. These are motivated students and they recognize a quality program and are motivated by it. It is a very diverse student body both ethnically and economically. I have many English learners as well as economically disadvantaged students. My classes are Animation, Photography and Video Production. The goal is the provide students a leg up into these professional fields by giving them the relevant experience with current technology and professional techniques and skills. These classes require a lot of specialized and expensive equipment, but fortunately most of the equipment benefits multiple classes. Donors have been amazing in helping up get the tools we need to learn and prepare students for college ands future professions.
