This project will help the school garden with needed supplies such as seeds, garden stakes, plant cages, etc. The whole student population will benefit from the garden. The school garden can be incorporated across the curriculum, reading, science, writing, health, art, music, etc. My kindergarten class will enjoy learning outdoors. We will be learning about the life cycle of various fruits and vegetables. We will also learn about the parts of a plant and their functions. We will be learning about insects and how they can either help or harm our garden. We will use the fruits and vegetables harvested from the garden to learn about good nutrition and healthy habits. I am so excited to have this project and to help all students at our school!
