I work with an amazing group of Kindergarteners! My class is made up of a very diverse group of learners. In our school, 100% of students are able to receive free breakfast and about 85% qualify for free/reduced lunch. Our school prides ourselves on the cultural diversity that we represent. My students are eager learners but often lack the resources at home. School is one of the only places where they have regular access to educational tools and websites via our support and technology. While many schools have interactive SMART boards, we have projectors and document cameras. These are great resources, but I'm always looking to step-up technology in my classroom. Textbooks and books can be accessed from the iPad. In this digital age, more and more resources are only available using digital media. Having these updated tech resources would make learning more accessible and current for these 21st century learners!
