The students in our school are from low income families, many of them struggling to provide a safe place to live from day to day. Over 70% of our student population are on the free and reduced lunch program. Due to personal and economic challenges, parents are not always able to give academic support to their children. We have worked very hard to provide a warm and caring school community for our kids to come to each day in which they can learn in a stress-free and supportive environment. The personal successes that they achieve each day in the classroom help them to build the confidence they will need to persevere and prepare for successful futures!

About my class
