So many events are happening in our world each and every day. Scholastic News provides an opportunity for kids to learn about these events in ways they can understand. By receiving an individual copy of Scholastic News each week, my students will be provided with a method of keeping up with the news, and they will work on becoming better, more critical readers and thinkers. Receiving and reading a copy of their Scholastic News is just the tip of the iceberg. Access to the magazine will be help them engage in extension projects such as writing and research projects on topics mentioned in the magazine.
