MacBook offer opportunities for extra practice by allowing students to work with interactive educational apps. The MacBook will engage all types of learners. It is a great tool for visual learners because certain apps demonstrate the steps involved in critical thinking and will also really help to bring out the creative side of students and teachers alike. The students will be able to put together slide shows, make photo book to recap the story that they are reading, especially the ESOL student. iMovie will also the students to use editing tools to create video project. Students will also be more engaged with the content because the apps are interactive and provide instant feedback. Students can use the Macbook to check their work with the QAR reader and get instant feedback without having to wait on the teacher to give them the feedback they desired. The Mack book has a headphone jack built into them, which is great for students who are easily distracted or are auditory learners. The touch screen features help kinesthetic learners to move things around when applying the different response mechanism.
