My students are from the largest, highest poverty and most diverse k-8 school in the state of Oregon. Close to 200 students come to art every day. By the end of the year, close to 800 receive art education in my classroom. These students are excited to have the opportunity to learn about and create unique art. Many students have not had an opportunity like this outside school. Many of these students have never even owned a box of quality crayons.
