My students are energetic, charismatic, and outgoing youth from an urban area of Atlanta, GA. The school is a Title 1 school, and receives a lot of assistance for it's at-need population- but don't let that fool you, the students are awesome and strive to do great things with themselves! We have Gates Millennium scholars, athletic scholars, and more! Despite not always having everything needed, the students are very active in school, carry tons of school spirit and have awesome attitudes! Recently, the school has had a leadership shift, and the administration wants to ensure that the school is very focused around improving student achievement, and technology usage. As a teacher, I am striving to expose as much technology and give as much preparedness as possible. Also, we also do a lot of blended learning using an online learning management system. Using programs, students are exposed to technology & it's importance
