I teach third grade at a Title 1 school. My school has recently been converted to a pre-K to third grade center, so that we can focus more on developing students' reading and math skills, which are great areas of concern. Most of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. They have demonstrated that they need intensive assistance so that they can develop their reading and math skills. However, they have set high goals for themselves and want to succeed. My kids are absolutely a joy to work with, and are committed to improving their skills! They are awesome kids!
