I started using a program that will help my students work on language & writing skills that they are lacking. Right now, I only have 4 computers in my classroom, and that is not enough for all of my students. The students are racing to finish their independent or group work so they can get to the computer and get on Mobymax. If I had 5 more devices for my students, each student would be given about 10-15 minutes each day. I would like to have iPad mini's because Apple products are user friendly. Sometimes the cheaper versions do not work as well as the iPad's. I go and assign specific objectives and the students are able to get on the computer or they will be able to get on the iPad mini and complete their lessons as well as work on lesson for the skills they are each lacking. Ten to fifteen minutes a day does not seem like much to some of you, but to my students, this is sometimes they only technology they are exposed to. Please help me to close the gap with my students so they will be ready and successful in 7th grade.
