My students are struggling readers who are in a reading intervention program to help further develop their literacy skills and bring them closer to grade level. Many of them struggle to find books that interest them even though they are eager to read. My students are hard working, unique and motivated students who want to be successful in school. They enjoy seeing new books in my classroom due to the limited resources they may have at home. "You discover you have wings when you open a book."- Anonymous. I want my students to feel like they have endless opportunities once they are engaged in a book.
