These four Chromebooks will make a huge difference in my students' learning because they will greatly support them in understanding mathematical concepts in addition to procedural knowledge. My Algebra 1 students will understand the behavior of Linear, Quadratic, and Exponential relationships by using Desmos online calculator software to visually see their equations come to life. My Algebra 2 students will be able to utilize this same Desmos program to investigate financial literacy such as interest, loans, and taxes, as well as investigating function families with exponents higher than 2. All my students will be able to make predictions, create equations, test the reliability and validity of their equations, and make modifications instantaneously with these Chromebooks while at the same time sharing their insights with each other.
