Linus Pauling is an awesome place full of diversity and curiosity. Our goal is for our students to possess the knowledge and skills needed to live productive and satisfying lives. Our students speak 17 languages and many are part of our Spanish-English dual-immersion program. In my classroom I have the joy of teaching 6th grade Life Science. As someone who loves science, I'm honored to be their first dedicated "science teacher". I also love teaching 7th grade Physical Science, where we get to talk about forces, motion, particles, chemical reactions, and thermodynamics! Overall, our students come from a wide range of cultures, languages, and economic backgrounds, and we're all here to learn together.
