I am currently a special education teacher and work with students ranging from grades Kindergarten through Third grade. My students disabilities range from mild to moderate. These children are behind their peers by at least a grade level or two. They take a longer time to process information and need more repetitions in practicing a specific skill then their normal peers. Since my students are already behind so much, many of them get discouraged easily. I want my class to feel excited and successful when it comes to learning new skills. I need to provide my class with everything they need to learn but I can not financially provide my students with all the resources by myself.
