My classroom is very diverse. Close to sixty-five percent of my students are receiving free or reduced lunch and come from homes in a less than desirable area in the city. My school is one of the top performing schools in the district. We have a high English as a second language and children from poverty stricken homes. In addition a large population in children with special needs. The teacher in my school work hard to ensure the successes of each and every student.
