I am a New York City public school teacher of dance education. I have recently moved to a Title One school in Manhattan. It is a wonderful school that is working to ensure the children receive a high quality education. This is the first year that our school is offering a full time dance program for the children. At present, we are operating without many of the necessary supplies. I am looking to build a performance-driven dance program and need numerous materials. With this DonorsChoose project I am asking to fulfill the needs to the third grade curriculum which requires tap shoes.
