I will have a group of 25 second grade students, at at neighborhood school in Chicago. There is a Promethean Board (interactive white board) in my classroom. Our school's mission it is to provide a safe and supportive community, where students can work together to develop and advance the knowledge of their world. Working together is a cornerstone of our classroom. Students will receive peer feedback on many things they do, along with teacher feedback. Learning is a reciprocal process. Without people around you giving you what you need to grow, it does not happen nearly as quickly. This reciprocal process is the way in which we build a great community of learners.
