My students are a great group of 5 and 6 year olds! Many of them come from low income families and live in a poverty stricken environment. A majority of the students come from single parent homes or are raised by other family members. However, even though students are faced with these circumstances, they are still eager to learn, and this is a place to build friendships. My school is a place where the students enjoy being there because they feel safe and welcomed. As a school family our goal is to provide students with the best education and supply them with resources they need to be successful. We expose them to many different ideas and help them understand that education is important and fun at the same time.
