I want to get books into the hands of of my junior year students. High school students often have a mixed relationship with reading. Some identify strongly with books and reading, some may have fallen behind long ago and don't see themselves as "readers." High-interest, relevant book are the key to reach readers of all levels. Strong readers enjoy some of the best current titles and will often breeze through them at great speed. Reluctant readers will work through a book when it speaks to them and then tell me, "This is the first book I've read in years." Some of these titles you can help with today have been such books.
