My students are going to be experiencing a great shock this year. Almost the entire staff at our school is new. The school is a Level 5 Turnaround, and is lacking many of the materials it needs for student success. Although there are new teachers and administrators here ready to help the students find that success, we can only do so much to prepare the students for a world that is so centered around technology. In my classroom we have no computers or tablets. We don't even have a computer lab. And for that reason, I want an interactive whiteboard for my class so that I can plug in my own laptop and let the students explore the world of computers in a fun and engaging way.
