Our school is located just outside of downtown Orlando in Florida. It is a middle school serving approximately 1,400 students in grades 6-8. We are in a very culturally diverse city. I have students that come from many different countries and states as well as many different socioeconomic backgrounds. I find that my students learn so much about culture and different places through each other. Their various perspectives are always incorporated somehow into our discussions and add to our lessons.
