My creative, diverse, and enthusiastic students come from Albemarle County in Virginia. Together, our school represents more than twenty countries, causing us to be a minority majority school! With such different backgrounds, each student brings something special to the classroom. This year I plan on embedding discovery and exploration into our classroom so that we can authentically learn about the ones around us, along with those so far away. Many of the following books focus around culture, geography, and customs.
