My first and second grade students come from 12 different countries! They have formed a wonderful community of learners. Most students receive free or reduced lunch. I actively encourage problem solving through hands on science and themed activities. My expectations for our youngest non-English speaking learners are high. Our class works on the same learning standards as their peers. My goal is to make all of their learning in science, language, math, and social studies as engaging and relevant as possible.
