My school is a small school of about 277 students in kindergarten through 8th grade located in a rural area of North Carolina. We are a Title 1 school with many of our students living in poverty. Due to this fact many of my students do not having access to a great deal of technology outside of school. However, my students are eager to learn and are extremely excited when they do have the opportunity to use technology at school. Learning for them becomes more than being able to read or do math. It becomes fun by giving them access to technology that they will not have access to outside of school. The students in my classroom are very caring and supportive of each other. Due to the fact that our school is small we are like one big family working together to improve our students' lives one step at a time.
