My students are amazing - they have a passion and a desire for learning that goes beyond the classroom. The come to school everyday with smiles on their faces and drive in their heart. The majority of my class is low income, coming from single parent homes where they spend more time with older siblings and baby sitters then they do their parents. Many of my students have family who works in the fields, yet my students desire to do more educationally and when asked why - they always say so they can provide a better life for their families and their parents. Our school is very encouraging and we are always looking for ways to motivate our students to continue their education and reach for their goals.
