Where are great authors born? In kindergarten on course! I am a kindergarten teacher at a high poverty school in California. I work with kids who many times have never been to preschool, yet are very eager and willing to learn. When they first arrive, they know they will learn to write and read this year. They are very enthusiastic and ready to start writing.
