My students face a life that doesn't seem realistic to most of us in the world. This past year I witnessed a mother bringing her children to school, the sun was barely up and I heard her berating these children in such a way that would make the toughest shed tears. "Go get your bleeping breakfast cuz I ain't feedin' your bleeping bleeps when you get home." I also have the students that I know with just a bit of encouragement can go on to do great things. They just need the resources and exposure to types of materials and technology that all students deserve.

About my class
