One of my favorite quotations originates from Walt Disney, perhaps the ideal dreamer. “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” A holistic education is the foundation for pursuing dreams. Persuading students to approach their education with a positive, “can-do” attitude, with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge is my goal as a teacher. As high-school students, each child is on a road to self-discovery. Their strengths, weaknesses, and where within them their power lies is only the beginning of what a solid educational background can provide. Students should learn to build strong relationships, teach one another, and take concepts from the classroom and lab knowing how to apply them to real life situations. As an educator, my goal is to encourage individual thought & experimental inquisition.
