I am a co-teacher and special education specialist for K-2 in North Portland. I use my knowledge and experience in special education to work with all my learners in the general education setting and provide special education services to my students with IEPs. I teach my students about executive functions and how to support their bodies and learning. We are a high energy bunch who love to move our bodies, sing, work in partners and groups, and use our hands to learn. We trial different strategies to see what works best for each kiddo-ten frames, counters, wobble stools, cushions, fidgets, timers, etc. Our greatest strength is how community minded we are; we take care of one another and have meaningful class meetings. We want to do our best and hope you can help us with that!
