I am a co-teacher and special education specialist for K-3 in North Portland. I use my knowledge and experience in special education to work with all my learners in the general education setting and provide special education services to my students with IEPs. I aim to provide culturally relevant curriculum to my students and meet their diverse learning needs as best I can. We are a high energy bunch who love to move our bodies, sing, work in partners and groups, and use our hands to learn. Our greatest strength is how community minded we are; we take care of one another and have meaningful class meetings. Our biggest challenge during distance learning is having the supplies we need, managing our schedules and building our online work stamina. We want to do our best and hope you can help us with that!
